Crazy Error

I can't seem to upload a screenshot of this page-long error that one of my students got. So I'll try to explain it.

This student can get into Canvas, can click on Modules, but when they click on Notebook 1, they get a long, mostly red error message that starts with

"Notebook failed to load

The error was:
Error: Mismatched anonymous define() module: function(){'use
strict';const{entries:e,setPrototypeOf:t,isFrozen:n,…"

and this goes on for about 30 more lines (all in red). Any ideas?

That is odd. Does this happen with just Notebook 1, or all of them? Are they eventually able to open the notebook?

Usually when I see notebook loading errors it's because multiple notebooks were trying to be opened in separate tabs simultaneously, opening a notebook in a new tab/window when it's already open in a different tab/window, or something like that.

If it's not temporary, hopefully @dashiell-young-saver could provide some more insight (or @ivonnem10 if she's back).

Also is this just for one of the students in your class or all of them?

Are you guys logged into any other version of Canvas? (If so, log out of all the others -- for example if your school also uses Canvas).

Only one student, no other Canvas account, does not have multiple Notebooks open.

Here's a list of errors they have come across:

Blank white page
Textbox with "An error occurred"
Blank page with small x in the middle
Blank page with big x
Notebook loads only top portion of page with big textbox in front saying "Network failed to load"

young310jodi Not sure what was happening, but the notebook seemed to be empty so I replaced it with a fresh copy
