dylarm The main problems I've seen are: Students using their email address to log in instead of their username. (I know the form says "Email," but I promise it wants the username instead) Students logging into the wrong Canvas - the log in screens for different versions/hostings of Canvas look extremely similar, so make sure it's the canvas.instructure.com one There are also some issues with students using Safari on Mac/iPad. They should use Chrome (or Firefox) when possible.
Ed_Harvey I have some students who are not able to log in after successfully logging in previously. Some of them had success after putting in their username rather than email address, but not all of them. They have tried resetting passwords but are not receiving reset emails. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
dylarm Ed_Harvey When I've seen students not receive the reset email, it's because they're not using the correct URL for our Canvas. Make sure that they type in "cavnas.instructure.com" instead of just Googling "canvas" and clicking the top link (a common occurrence, I've found).
bkirk272 It's a bit late, but I've also found that if a student recreates an account using the same email address, when they log back into the Notebook, their progress will still be there.
