bpthomps I hope someone replies with some slides, even though it may be too late for those of us who have started. It would be interesting to see someone else's thought process of getting students signed up.

I haven't made slides for the whole project, but I have made some for best practices, reminders, and common errors, as well as some of the critical evaluation questions for class discussion. It's still a work in progress; I'm still working through the Notebooks myself. I can post what I create when I'm done, for as much as that might be helpful.

Also, I'm making some "completion quizzes" that students are submitting as they complete each Notebook. Instead of me meticulously checking each student's Notebook in its entirety, I have them respond to some questions about the Notebook, with a combination of questions directly answered within the Notebook and a few examples of "write new code" to assess how they understand certain things. My school uses Canvas as our LMS, and these quizzes are directly coded into Canvas. I can try to extract those quizzes for posting here as well.
